This sort of public elevation isn't uncommon. What's required is that the idol not 'act out' in public, or have his violence captured on film, in these times. So whatever his secrets, or past, he is temporized as a virtuous hero. But she makes a good point. First, the evil is peeking through like never before. It's becoming transparent, where in the past I think those elevated for public consumption, and mythologized, maintained that characters and those mistaken assumptions, where people did imagine them to be virtuous and worthy of some envy or hopefully, emulation. But the secular 'Saints' of today seem very anti-. It's as if the stage manager has inadvertently left the backstage door open so that the audience can see the actors before makeup and being made up, and see them, to an extent, as they are.
And second, perhaps they leave the door open because that evil is now the appeal. Perhaps the appeal to some is not that they pretend to virtue but that they literally promote vice. When people are so given over to depravity, as perhaps a good portion at least of the '48%" the press keeps touting as sKerry voters, then I suppose one additionally become an evangelist for vice - in for a penny, in for your life, and everyone else's. Don't excel. Don't raise the bar. Just try to bring everyone else down instead.

This should be hilarious, "It`s racism against a black man" meanwhile jurors will be looking at Michael who is whiter than snow. I`m suprised Michael didn`t use Johnny Cochran "If the kid can sit, you must aquit"

Michelle Malkin is one of the most perceptive commentators/columnists in the media world today. Many others are 'good' but Michelle is 'great'. She gets it.
She's a flippin' Drama Queen.

Michael Jackson's a freak and a kiddie pervert. Is Snoop Dog - Ice T? Now there's a guy who sung about cop killin' and went on, ironically enough, to play a cop on
