ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. -- The man known as Seminole County's "most annoying neighbor" is heading back behind bars, according to Local 6 News.

Alan Davis, 49, gained national attention for spreading junk across his front yard, including a giant statue of a human buttock.

Davis accumulated more than 10 year's worth of what officials call junk. He had airplane parts, broken-down cars and fiberglass in his yard. Neighbors have complained about Davis and the piles of junk and rats in his yard for more than 10 years, according to Local 6 News.

Davis, 49, had been placed on house arrest in September after serving nearly a year in prison for illegal dumping and creating and maintaining a public nuisance.

On Monday, a judge sentenced Davis to three years in prison for violations of his house arrest, including failing to return home from work on time and keeping part of a World War II fighter plane in his yard.

"Mr. Davis is marching to the beat of his own drum at all times," the judge said.

Davis, a mechanic and welder, claims he's the victim of a government conspiracy and that he's merely fighting to protect his property rights. He was an artist, he insisted, and the pieces of junk were his supplies.

But neighbors and officials said Davis' lawn is an eyesore and he's flaunted the law for years. Once, when a judge ordered him to move the trash, he put it on his roof.

Monday, the Department of Corrections said Davis violated his probation when he failed to return home at the time designated by his probation officer on two separate occasions.

"I sent him a message though the monitoring company to go home now," Department of Corrections official Lisa Farr said in court. "I then called his residence. He had a voice privacy thing. His wife answered and she said at that time that she didn't know where he was at, but she would find him."

In the hallway outside the courtroom, his wife, Aileen Davis, said, "This is crazy. This is a victimless crime."

No, he's flouted the law. The judge is going to flaunt the law to Davis.

*applause*.

Not slaves. Not yet by far. Just in danger of losing more liberties after already having lost many.

Slowly, we're trading away property rights, for expected property values.

I couldn't take 3 years of someone's life because they have junk in their yard.

That's not why they are doing it. He is asking them to do it.

not only live near this person but own a rental near by and try to rent it,first: this person was ordered to clean up quite awhile ago and the city took all the garbage away, when the city auctioned it off Davis had a buddy buy it and bring it back, second: he took his butt junk and wrote all the town gov. officials names on it,third: he did in deed put car parts, barrels, tires and other debris on his roof after the first order came,on the second order he had his work truck and his wife's car impounded for back monies owed on junk violations, perhaps he should have just moved to a location that has no town zoning, imagine if your next door neighbor threw there kitchen garbage out on their lawn because someday it will become compost!! How would anyone like to live near that,if your going to be a collector of anything than keep it out of sight not on the roof!!
