Senate has just started debate on Gonzales nomination for AG..Spector is leading off..he's just awful..not sure if he's speaking for or against the nomination..Debate is supposed to end today, with a vote also today...
I'm getting a new grandbaby in August, so I may be really busy for the next four or so years.......LOL.
He sounds like a radio announcer.
It's 2:48 in the afternoon where I am and I have been laughing almost nonstop since Noon when I found out the GI captured in Iraq was a freakin hoax.

I'm not his biggest fan but he and Bush have played their cards wisely, built the majority and reelected the President. I have a feeling they will be ready for the wars of this session and that's because they haven't acted like the Dems...impatient emotional nut-cases.

BTW, since we're on this subject, can somebody tell me exactly at what point in time Social Security becamse "solvent" and "not a crisis?"

Bill Nelson refers to the "Good Book" and refers to certain books in the Bible. Only dems allowed to do that, of course.
I suppose my enthusiasm will depend on who shows up for running and how much I loathe the opposing side.

I haven't watched five minutes of this and based on the comments here, it's a good thing. They'd have ruined a perfectly nice day.
