Well, I am having a martini. I probably should wait until 5PM, but honestly, Kennedy is enough to send me over the edge.

Bush knew what he was doing renominating these folks.

He also knows that the DemoKrauts didn't learn that their
filibustering, etc. is why they lost power in 2002 and 2004.

Is it too early to eagerly look forward to Election 2006???

I called Teddy's office. Asked the aide why the senator was fixated on water torture. Was it because he had left Mary Jo to drown.

He accused me of harrassing him with that comment. I suggested that the Senator was harrassing the nominee and that I thought it was a reasonable question.

He then told me that I ought to have something better to do with my time, like getting back to work.

Interesting final comment from the aide.

Considering I'm at home and do not work.

Rather I make sure I pay attention to the elected officials so they don't get away with their lies.

"Horse's ass" is what I call Uncle Teddy.

Laura Ingraham had dubbed him "Sponge Ted Square Liver"/

He's going after Chertoff now.

Thundering about not a single detainee at Guantanamo has been prosecuted, it's all falling apart.

I don't have a candidate yet, either. I may have to concentrate on my roses and garage sales and ignore the whole thing!

If Teddy can kindly shut the hell up before 6 PM ET, I might be able to catch Brit Hume.

Do these people believe that the facts to back up legal precedent just appear out of thin air?

The way they are handling this, not a person in D.C. willing to give an opinion about any case coming before any court in the country.

Frist is going to go nuclear? If so, we'll make up the $$ we've been witholding. We write and tell them all the time that they need to do this as we consider judicial appointments among the most important aspects of the president's domestic agenda.

He yields the floor after asking that certain papers be submitted for the record.

Bill Nelson standing up and refers to how they're waiting for the majority leader.

Nelson wants to address the Sen. Mass and notes he does not want this taken out of his time. Nelson just back from discussing with constituents the President's proposal on Social Security which will be addressed tomorrow night. Notes high percentage of senior citizens in Florida.

At any rate, Frist is evidently due shortly.
