Senate has just started debate on Gonzales nomination for AG..Spector is leading off..he's just awful..not sure if he's speaking for or against the nomination..Debate is supposed to end today, with a vote also today...
Schumer now getting 10 minutes after lunch..
Senate is in recess til 2:15pm
LOL......my, my, what a busy girl you are.
Magnifying mirrors: yum.
Time for C-SPAM seminar phone callers!
Can you name any of those democrats who might cross the aisle? I'm drawing a blank except for Lieberman.
"Did you see the Harry and Nancy Show yesterday? "
Saw it, thought I was watching "America's Funniest Home Videos.
IMHO, This means Volker's got BIG problems...this is a pre-emptive PR strike..
OMG C-Span caller said "Ramsey Clark speaks for me."
What does Volker have to do with that?
Im sure Ramsey Clark speaks for the majority of C-SPAM callers..
Nelson (Ne)..the new guy from Colorado..I thought that Bayh would, now I'm not sure about him..Nelson (Fl)..??? large Hispanic vote..and he says he's running for re-election..several more who are up in 2006..they're gonna face the "obstructionist" charge..if they vote against the AG and Bush's judicial nominees..it'll stick..also, since he will be confirmed..why paint yourself that way?..
OH, gee.....listen to this whackjob...saying that prisons in Texas use dog collars and make prisoners crawl around naked on the floor while Bush was governor!
And, of course, it goes unchallenged by CSPAN.
LOL!
Oh geez, now the callers rambling on about Bush 'paying reporters..'
I hope this is phony.
You've got quite the set up!
Maybe Obama...he has to send a signal that he is not a
rubber stamp, aka..Jesse. You can bank on a "No" from practically all Dems but definitely,,,,the Vermont
duo..the Mssachusetts duo,,,,Biden...Boxer...Schumer...
Durbin....Fence sitterss...Hillary and Feinstein...
Just a little insight as seen by me...Jake
OT: Lately I've been getting the impression that the Firefox browser SUCKS. Internet Explorer never locked up on me. Firefox does every time I go open an audio link.
Same here. I have to use IE. It worked when I first downloaded it. Wonder what's up.
