Kerry Pledges Military Record Release

Three months after he lost his presidential bid, Sen. John Kerry has finally agreed to a full release of his military records, after being cornered on the issue Sunday by "Meet the Press" host Tim Russert.
Appearing on the same show last April, Kerry insisted all his military records were already in the public domain, telling Russert, "I've shown them - they're available to you to come and look at."
But in August the Washington Post reported:
"Although Kerry campaign officials insist that they have published Kerry's full military records on their Web site (with the exception of medical records shown briefly to reporters earlier this year), they have not permitted independent access to his original Navy records.
"A Freedom of Information Act request by The Post for Kerry's records produced six pages of information. A spokesman for the Navy Personnel Command, Mike McClellan, said he was not authorized to release the full file, which consists of at least a hundred pages."
On Sunday Kerry attempted to explain the discrepancy, telling Russert, "We put all the records out that I had been sent by the military."
"Then at the last moment, they sent some more stuff, which had some things that werent even relevant to the record. So when we get - Im going to sit down with them and make sure that they are clear and I am clear as to what is in the record and what isnt in the record and well put it out. I have no problem with that."
When Russert pressed Kerry, "Would you sign Form 180?" - authorizing the Pentagon to release of his full file, Kerry at first tried to dodge the question.
But after he was asked about Form 180 for the third time, the top Democrat finally relented, telling the "Meet the Press" host, "Yes, I will."
Kerry then added a bizarre demand of his own, saying that the Swiftboat Veterans for Truth, the group of Vietnam veterans who led the questioning of his military record, should also sign Form 180:
"I'd call on those who have challenged me, let's see their records," he said. "I want to see the records of each of those people who have put up a challenge, because some of them have some serious questions in them, and it hasn't been appropriate."

He didn't agree to anything. He said he'd do it IF the SBVT vets signed them too. You know he doesn't mean some of them, he means ALL of them.
He can't let that stuff out. It would kill him.

All it would take for him not to do it is for him not to receive the financial backing it would take.

Few would bet on Kerry's submitting a Form 180.
But if he were to submit a Form 180, it would be a safe bet on his having to make public ALL his military and military-medical records.
That is why he will find a supterfuge not to submit the 180. In no way can Kerry allow himself to be seen as selectively making available the records - there would be outcries for all of them.

A most curious statement senator Kerry, one that needs some more explanation; what wouldnt be relevant in a military record file

Why is there no justice for the 58,000 + names on the Viet Nam Wall?
Why is there no justice for to the millions,
who served with honor in Viet Nam?
When will the Right Wing Main Stream Media demand
that Hanoi Kerry apologize to the names on the Wall
And to Viet Nam Vets who served with honor?
Why are we still "war criminals" and Hanoi Kerry is a "hero"?
When will the GOP controlled Senate set the record straight?
US GOP controlled Senate
AND
Main Stream Right Wing Media
Hang your heads in shame!
When you wake up in the morning,
and look in the mirror,
before you go to the US Senate,
or to the TV or Radio studios,
know that you did nothing to remove this traitor.
Well REAL Americans know what you did NOT do!
U.S. Constitution Amendment XIV
Section 3. No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress,
or elector of President and Vice President,
or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States,
or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress,
or as an officer of the United States,
or as a member of any state legislature,
or as an executive or judicial officer of any state,
to support the Constitution of the United States,
shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same,
or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.
But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

If I spoke my TRUE feelings about that slime ball Kerry, I would be banned from the forum and the FBI would be hunting me down...
I once had a dream, that Kerry was attempting to be the "Silver Star" hero and make a speech in front of the Wall on the Mall... Before he could clear his throat and start speaking --- hands emerged from the wall, grasped the bastard by his scrawny geeky neck and pulled him into the wall to answer to all the souls and ghosts who lived within that he smeared with his freaking lies and those whose death he caused by giving aid and comfort to the enemy to fight on after we had their asses kicked.
Yeah, I feel very strongly about this particular bastard...
I saw REAL heroes killed and brothers gravely wounded, yet we were cursed and spat upon when we returned home --- PRIMARILY due to what this lying bastard was telling the world to gain political recognition for his own sorry ass advantage.
The bastard's grave will be soaked in urine for decades....until we are all dead.
The war isn't over for many of us, until this particular bastard has been brought down and totally unmasked for the lying, traitorous, cowardly bastard that he clearly was, is and will be through eternity....
If I precede him into death, I would sell my soul for the ability to return and haunt him into insanity...
Get the drift, of the depth of my position on this bastard?

If he'd have ever signed the release form (180), it would have been all over but the crying for him. Personally, I don't think he'll ever release them - even after ALL accusers do. And they will. If he ever signed it himself, it would be beyond proof what a fake wannabe he is.

Right-wing mainstreet media?? Have always liked your posts, Tonkin, but this is above my altitude max...GOP Senators should remove Kerry??
We are in a war, so why should we create a flea circus of Kerry?
His OWN PARTY should remove him - and his own constitutents MAY remove him, indeed. And veterans HAVE REMOVED him - he has actually removed himself - from RESPECT.
He cannot be a happy man.
