Support Our Troops Day * 2-8-05 * In protest of the medias distorted coverage of the war in Iraq, and in support of our Troops, we are urging every American to stop their newspaper and turn off their televisions for JUST ONE DAY on February 8, 2005.
When you cancel your paper, tell them you are canceling for Support Our Troops Day.
If you are interested in supporting our Troops, but dont receive a paper, or maybe just receive it on the weekend, we encourage you to call your local paper anyway.
Tell them you are calling for: Support Our Troops - FEBRUARY 8, 2005
Let's stand united behind our Troops and make this a nationwide event. I encourage everyone who is interested in this to E-mail this thread to everyone they know. All servicemen PAST and present deserve this. For an eloquent Troop's perspective of this see the article written by LTC Tim Ryan.

Do not turn on the TV on the elite media: CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS and NBC, but only FOX NEWS!!!the only Fair and balanced!!!
Sorry, as much as I love the troops and despise the MSM, this smacks of something the DUmmies would concoct, like that stupid not none damn dime day (or whatever it was called).
No offense, just my opinion.

I did not see anything wrong with ZAvenger's comments. Please add to the discussion when you've had some coffee.
FYI http://www.pentagonchannel.mil streams the pentagon channel on the internet.
It has Pentagon briefings and archives some neat stuff.
I spent NOT ONE DAMN DIME for a newspaper today
