TERRI SCHINDLER SCHIAVO FEBRUARY DAILY THREAD 2005: TERRI IS OUR VALENTINE!
Free Republic and various sources | December 30, 2004, January 31, 2005 | Florida Voter

*Michael, HAVE A HEART !!!!!For Valentines Day give Terri back to her MOM & DAD, The Schindlers!!!!!!!!*

The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.

Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views. January 2005 Daily Thread was a RECORD HIGH!!!!!!! 15, 103 VIEWS!!!!!!

More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.

Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.

Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.

Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

See Terri's flash movies if you need more information. You can see for yourself that's she's interactive and follows the doctor's instructions.

Visit: http://www.terrisfight.org

NOTE: Terri's December Dailies are noted as a source above. There are lots of important links at the very top of that thread. If you missed Terri's Celebration of Life, you can click on it from there.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!

The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.

"I know exactly what you're saying. I have stacks of papers on this subject, printing more every day. Problem is, some don't want to hear the truth that would set them free. I don't know if it is because they are blind, or if they have another agenda. I can't even get past two sentences with my own family before they start jumping down my throat."

People often resist most strongly things that they know must be true. Many have a protective filter that stops any train of thought that might lead to admitting they've been lied to, and fell for it. Or, admitting they've been screwed over, and couldn't or wouldn't stop it. Then there are those who act like derision will protect them from the scary stuff.

"I don't know how bad things will have to get before it gets some people's attention. "

Imagine how bad it could get, then use that as a guideline.

"Bond is in the midst of a investigating political individuals and officials involved. Bond continues “We are investigating Dick Gephardt and Michael Schiavo. We think we may be on the verge of a huge discovery soon”. Biograph will be releasing non sensitive information in the near future on this expose documentary"

Dick Gephardt? When I read your post I assumed Gephardt and Mikey were subjects of separate investigations on separate issues. When I read the link, I saw saw they're both included in the same investigation, same issue -- to push a Naziesque euthanasia agenda on America. Neither political party says a word, and few if any in either party want to address this issue. Not a good sign.

Thanks. Sometimes I get so wound up that I just start ranting. I really do think the stakes are this high.

"I was wondering about calling the Bishop in Florida."

Terri's bishop, Robert N. Lynch of the Diocese of St. Petersburg, has openly stated that the Schindlers should allow Terri to die.

Terri's family met with Bishop Lynch in his office on two separate occassions. Each time, Lynch said there was nothing he could do. Lynch warned the priests in the diocese not to get involved with Terri's case. Those who have shown support for Terri have been ostracized by Lynch.

Terri's priest and friend of the family, Monsignor Thaddeus (Ted) Malanowski, is one of a handful of priests in the diocese who openly support Terri and her family. Lynch has given the cold shoulder to Mons. Malanowski, which causes him much saddness.

Monsignor visits Terri every Saturday and has been doing so for the last 4 years. Terri enjoys Monsignor's Polish songs and jokes.

Michael is not a practicing Catholic, but apparently his mistess Jodi Centonzi is. She regularly attends Mass at a Catholic Church in Safety Harbor, which is near Clearwater. Jodi and Michael's last child was baptized in the Catholic Church even though the priest was aware that they are not married.

"I have felt from the beginning that God has used Terri as a rallying point. The eyes of the whole world are upon her. She is one special lady. I'm praying that God will save Terri, and of course He will be glorified in the process."

I have felt from the start that this is a test for the nation, and how we do on the test will determine how He will deal with the nation.

Just a point I thought of last night, someone else may have already mentioned it:

When Karen Ann Quinlan was taken off the VENTILATOR, she began breathing on her own and was fed by a FEEDING TUBE. TEN YEARS LATER SHE DIED A NATURAL DEATH - while on a FEEDING TUBE.

To say removing Terri's FEEDING TUBE is ANALGOUS to taking Karen Ann Quinlan off a VENTILATOR is INCREDIBLY FLAWED and a bold faced LIE.

Gov. Bush must act. Put the legalities aside and save this woman. Sort out the legalities later.

I just quickly told my priest that they wanted to remove FL Terri Schiavo's feeding tube for the third time. For a second I thought I could see puzzlement on his face, but my comment refreshed his memory. It's worth a try & it worked for me. :)

If your clergyman doesn't know about it, tell him you will send him some info. in the mail.

You can quickly copy a nutshell version from one of the posts, print it, and send it to him.

Here's my nutshell version:

Terri Schiavo was in a marriage on the rocks, and had bruises and would explain them away, by telling her family that she and her husband were just fooling around.

At 28 years of age Terri collapsed from mysterious circumstances.

Michael and FL courts want to remove Terri's feeding tube for the third time. Ironically Terri can swallow and could swallow better with therapy. However, Michael won't allow any kind of therapy for Terri. One time when they took away Terri's tube, Terri's brother & sister fed her soft food with a spoon, but were banned from seeing Terri for feeding Terri by Michael. And FL Judge Greer said: "I don't want anyone feeding that girl."

A nurse testified that she fed Terri jello which she immensely enjoyed.

Terri can say a few words, and tries to talk, but needs therapy, to talk better. Again, Michael won't allow therapy.

Terri Schiavo wants to live
Family reveals secret therapy sessions held for brain-disabled woman scheduled to die

Terri Schindler-Schiavo does not want to die. She would like to go home. And she tried to convey this to her father in no uncertain terms by sitting bolt upright and trying to get out of her chair when told she might be killed, her family has revealed.

The stunning news was released at noon Eastern today by Terri's father, Robert Schindler, at the 'round-the-clock vigil outside the Woodside Hospice facility in Pinellas Park, Fla., where his daughter's court-ordered death by starvation is scheduled to begin tomorrow at 2 p.m. Eastern. At that time, her husband and legal guardian Michael Schiavo is scheduled to give the order to disconnect the 39-year-old brain-disabled woman's feeding tube that has provided her with sustenance for the past 13 years.

In an interview a few hours earlier, Schindler described the incident to WorldNetDaily. He said he was holding a cell phone to Terri's ear as she listened intently to the speaker, propped in her jerry-chair at about a 30-degree angle. Suddenly she sat up straight and tried to get out of her chair, despite her weak legs and muscles that were slack from lack of exercise.

His daughter's response stunned Schindler, who grabbed the phone and asked, "My God, what did you tell her?"

The speaker said he had warned, "If you don't get up and get out of there, you're going to die there."

"He was ecstatic when I told him what Terri had tried to do," Schindler said.

"Monday is not a court holiday. Greer's having a hearing Monday afternoon. Terri's freepers WILL BE THERE. And, Happy Birthday to George Washington too."

Since you mentioned GW, I'll repeat that the example he set, especially in his attitude, is a good one for us. He had judges denying the "rights of Englishmen" to Americans. We have judges denying the rights of Americans to Americans. The colonists faced loss of freedom. We face loss of freedom and and unwilling loss of our lives. The stakes are very high.

One thing and I'll drop the Revolutionary War metaphor. Cornwallis had the most professional, highly trained force around, - backed up by a mighty empire - and was supposed to be invincible. The Swamp Fox's informal, ill-equipped militia of volunteers kicked his sorry butt all the way across SC and defeated him many times over. Cornwallis had huge resources, arrogance and power. The Swamp Fox had minimal resources, but lots of faith. Parallel. 'nuff said.

Here's a really great summary about Terri by a nurse who wrote to the Holy Father. Thankfully, the Holy Father came through, though I don't know if he saw this specific letter.

But for a brief summary, here's the letter:

I think it would be a great idea if we contacted Terri's bishop. Does anyone know his name, phone # and/or e-mail?

Unfortunately, while U.S. Catholic bishops and priests support Terri, there are some bad bishops who will have to face God some day. Of course, I don't know both sides of the story, but he should be pressued to do the right thing.

Also, it might be a good idea to write "letters to editor" to Catholic papers in FL. If interested, you can go to Catholicpress.org, click Diocesan newspapers (left side bar), and click Florida.

Way back, I had thought it would have been a good idea to wage a campaign to have had masses said all over the United States for Terri. We could all have bought mass cards for her. But the idea never took off.

The suggestions you made today are good ones.

"Also, it might be a good idea to write "letters to editor" to Catholic papers in FL. "

Also, in general the Baptist denomination supports Terri. There was a link to a FL Baptist paper here somewhere, but I can't locate it at the moment.

Baptists are the 2nd largest denomination in the US, and in most of the South they outnumber Catholics.
