Kuwait captures senior militant during clashes

KUWAIT (Reuters) - Kuwaiti security forces captured a senior suspected al Qaeda militant on Monday during clashes in oil-rich Kuwait, where authorities are battling a surge in militant violence.

State television identified the arrested militant as Amer al-Enezi and said he was a top militant and brother of Nasser al-Enezi, killed by police in clashes on Sunday. Kuwait has been hunting for Amer al-Enezi who is among a group of militants suspected of links to al Qaeda.
