The frontrunner in the race to head up the so-called party of compassion and understanding said unabashedly on Saturday that he "hates" the opposition."I hate the Republicans and everything they stand for," former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean told Democrats gathered at a Manhattan hotel, in quotes picked up by the New York Daily News. He and six other candidates came to address the final DNC forum before the Feb. 12 vote for chairman.
Dean said that despite his hatred for the GOP, he "admires" their discipline and their organization.
But he cautioned his Democratic audience that their party shouldn't become "Republican lite."
"We can talk about our faith, but we cannot change our faith," he said. "We need to be people of conviction."
I propose we make that the official Howard Dean theme song!
I love Howard Dean. He--as DNC chairman--will be the best insurance policy for continued GOP control of the federal government that we will have--right next to a Hillary nomination.
"We need to be people of conviction."
If that's the case, who are the democraps going to find to run in 2008. They will never find anyone in that party with conviction.
Red
This is good for Hitlery.
Dean just articulated the DNC platform and the reason they are on the decline. They offer nothing positive.
It's no small achievement that the 2004 election has Dumbocrats talking about "faith" and trying to finesse their radical pro-abortion positions. Here's what they're up against, and why these pantiewaists are in a snit.
Conservative pro-life Christian voters made monumental contributions to GWB's 2004 vote totals. Pres Bush won with 63 Million Votes (13 million more than 2000).
The map, though impressive, conveys the misleading impression that blue state Catholics voted for Kerry (a CINO).
According to EWTN "The World Over Live" analysts, with the exception of VA, where Catholics spit 70/30 in favor of Bush, the majority of Catholic voters split 55/45 for Bush.....a whopping number of votes since Catholics number about 52 million Americans.
According to CNN exit polls, Bush voters included 38% of union members, 40% of those with union members in their households, 42% of those earning $15,000-$30,000, 44% of those who earn under $50,000 and 44% of Latinos, 45% of youth (aged 18-29), 13% of liberalseven 11% of Democrats voted for Bush.
If you look closely, the map appears to place the insignificant "Other Voters" in the ocean.....that's accurate, because "Other Voters--RINO Republicans" were on cruise ships.
(MAP UPDATE Bush won Michigan, Ohio, Iowa and New Mexico later.)
I hope that's not a Viking Kitten!
Always give your best, never get discouraged, never be petty; always remember other may hate you, but those who hate you don't win unless you hate them, and then you destroy yourself. -- Richard Nixon, Farewell to the White House Staff, 8/9/1974
Howard Senior was a Republican. Howard Jr. may be revealing more about himself than he realizes. He's running, punching or kicking as much as he can to make the break with his Park Avenue past, unaware that the more he fights against it the more he simply confirms his upper crust origins, for the rich can affect left attitudes better than ordinary working people.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Heh! I doubt it.
We breathe." LOL
I figured it out. Their emotions cloud their judgment. Their impaired judgment results in distorted thinking.
The map already shows Ohio and New Mexico as going for Bush. Kerry got Michigan's electoral votes.
Don't be a playa hata!!
Dean: 'I Hate Republicans'
Oh,NOOOOO! I'll NEVER be able to get a good night's sleep ever again!! How can I go on??
(I would scream in agony if I weren't laughing so FReepin' hard!!)
Re your tagline....LOL!!! (and you ask a good question!)
"I hate the Republicans and everything they stand for,"
Saaaaay, there's a positive message for the good, productive, healthy folks of America to rally around.
