Democracy is the best way to undermine Mohammedanism. My understanding of the religion is that the head of state is the head of the religion.
But freedom and prosperity appeals to human nature regardless of religious belief. It's hard to imagine most Mohammedans choosing Iranian-style authoritarianism over Western-style democracy.
This establishes a precedent for challenging Mohammedan orthodoxy.

We really should consider using that blue ink system.

That's nice to see. I hope pictures like that are plastered on hometown newspapers.

"LOL! He's under the delusion Iraqi judges are appointed by Democrats. The curfew begins at 7:00 PM so there's no chance of an extension. Every one who could vote will have voted by then and those who haven't are simply out of luck."
Think of this from the confused Libs...they said we could not, should not and would not have the election today, and even if we did(contradiction right there) it would be worthless, invalid, etc.
But if someone did not get to vote before the curfew, they will complain that those who didn't get to vote in the election that could not, should not and would not be held today and would be invalid even if it were held, have now rendered the election null and void.
I know, I know, I couldn't follow this tortured trail as I wrote this, but you know what I mean...
(Just had to bring this over from the locked thread, because they locked it immediately after it posted.)

Is that real?
The picture's file name says it was taken after Saddam's capture.

Look at the length of the queue waiting to vote in Iraq!

Just checked the latest Yahoo AP story photos. Six photos of somber Iraqis voting, and one of a pool of blood where a suicide bomber struck near a polling place. No photos of joyous souls dancing or weeping and proclaiming their freedom as were posted earlier on FR. Damn MSM. Expect more of the same from the MSM, which is why we're all here at FR.

Where's Barbara Boxer? She better not see this, or she's going to protest the results.

I'm still shocked that Tim asked him about it [form 180]. Where were you 4 months ago, TIM?!
I got the distinct impression from Russert's hard questioning of JoKe that Russert was paving the way to get Kerry out of the way for someone else [who oh who would benefit???].
I don't think Kerry will get near the MSM cover, once 'she' gets re-elected to her Senate seat and publically starts her run for the White House. Kerry should needs to get a clue; his one chance passed in '04.

So, how many weeks are they projecting before they know the outcome of the election?
