I am so gratified by this. For all the naysayers, there is now lots of light at the end of the tunnel.
Exactly!
I have no words to express my gratification with how well this election went.
It exceeded even my high optimism.
Thanks---there actually is a name for it, huh?
My name for it is irritating, but also a very bad memory--
Maybe it is a generational thing and the younger women won't do it!
I think it's "ululating"...and, yes, it's really {{creepy}}.
But it beats shooting off a million guns in the air!
BTW, there's an interesting program on C-Span: Spririt of America.
They're analyzing a lot of the coverage from the Arab media.
I hope to buy some sort of dvd in the weeks to come documenting the enthusiasm and bravery of the Iraqi voters.
Did you realize today is the 36th anniversary of the Tet Offensive?
Thank God Uncle Walter isn't around anymore to tell us what a crushing defeat the U.S. suffered today!
I would vote for that!!!! he he
Juan Williams just on Fox saying that the election is a positive for the President, BUT (monkey) he still doesn't have an EXIT stategy---
If I hear exit strategy one more time I will scream--I bet there has never, ever been a bona fide exit stategy at the beginning of a war, and if someone was delusional enough to think they would absolutely be able to implement one planned years ahead, they have been sorely disappointed!
That's why I was so touched by Alaa's message "...My condolences to the Great American people for the tragic recent losses of soldiers. The blood of Iraqis and Americans is being shed on the soil of Mesopotamia, a baptism with blood. A baptism of a lasting friendship and alliance, for many years to come, through thick and thin, we shall never forget the brave soldiers fallen while defending our freedom and future..."
He understands their sacrifice, even if the left doesn't.
I was flabbergasted to read about the young Marine from Pittman, New Jersey who died in the helicopter crash this week. His parents were on the news that night, saying their son had always wanted to be a Marine, he had planned to reinlist, and all his family was so proud of him. How they were even able to speak is beyond me, but they didn't condemn our President, they supported their son, who was fighting for what he believed in. Even in their extreme grief they were able to tell us this.
Corporal J. R. Martinez is on Cavuto now--very badly burned--says "It was worth it". This really is the home of the brave! Thank you, Corporal Martinez, we are blessed to hear and see you.
Not sure, but I think this [pic] is real .....LOLOL!
This one is, too!:
Hi, Uncs! : )
He DOES too have an exit plan.
1st we finish the job.
2nd we leave.
I was about to post the exact same thing.
once more, the libs fail to get it. GWB's plan is coming off precisely as he said it would. the election is among the last steps in his "exit strategy".
the president's vision is unfolding before their eyes, but they are too blind to see it.
Amen!!
'ululating' is the spelling I recall. I've been pronouncing it OOL-you-lat-ing, but I don't know.
OOL-you-lay-ting
Thanks for the info--I say let's buy this woman a whistle!
