Makes me wonder if these people even have a life outside of their own little 'perfect' world.

Speaking of, I have to get away from this computer for a while, my eyes are starting to swell shut.:)

Let Freedom Reign!!!

I saw that to, it makes me sick. Also anybody who listens to Rush knows that the Nazi's never won an election.

James Rubin is a moron. Just heard him on Fox, replying to a host's question about whether there'd ever been a democratic election which resulted in worsening things. HITLER! was the answer. Apparently nobody on the Democratic side of the aisle knows that Hitler lost to Hindenberg. Twice. He was appointed Reichschancellor.

Freakin' ideologues like Rubin think they're going to get back in power by bringing HITLER! into every conversation.
Welcome, my friends!

Jamie Rubin who is on Fox ...just compared todays Iraqi election to the Nazis winning an election.

He was laughing about his snide comment.

Just when you think they can't go any lower...

I went to bed after 5 a.m. this morning, at that time the terrorists had killed 27. It is now 1:35 p.m. and if what I just saw on CNN is correct the death toll has only risen by 1, a total of 28 dead.

Is this a sign (proof) that we have a signicant number of the terrorist scum leaders in custody? I hope so.

Most excellent!

I did in fact wait in line for "only" 2 hours in November, but that's NO comparison to the risk these brave Iraqis are taking and the time they are spending just to make their voices heard.

Mrs. CD and I watched the news coverage this morning. Incredible, moving stuff. This is historic.

I suspect if the Iraqis had white skin, he'd be singing a different song.

1. The respondents to the polls who said they wouldn't take their mothers to vote if there was a threat of death didn't get the question. It's about their children not their mothers.

Thanks for your earlier post on Thread 1 from Alaa repeated here. This is so awesome. To read this and see the photos of the man crawling to the poll to vote in respect, and another carrying a crippled man to vote says it all. When a friend in church asked me why my finger was blue I said it was in support of the Iraqi voters. However, the ink wasn't indelible so two others got smudged. My family won't be surprised!

Our brave troops and the brave Iraqis have made this a day we will never forget. Let freedom ring. Prayers for all the fallen and their loved ones--we will never forget! Thank you for your sacrifice in the name of liberty.

I just flipped on MSNBC and they said when they come back from the commercial they'll be talking about some people getting sick on a ship. I guess they would be covering other stories if this election were a flop, eh?

The same people who said "5000 dead if we move on Baghdad", the same people who cried about fictitious looting, the same people who said we wouldn't hand over Iraq anytime soon, the same people who said we'd need "50k body bags for our troops", the same people who said taking Baghdad could take a year, the same people who said the Arab Street would rise up...who would no doubt be trying to leverage a failed election in Iraq into impeachment hearings for George Bush...are now scrambling to change the subject.
