I just flipped on MSNBC and they said when they come back from the commercial they'll be talking about some people getting sick on a ship. I guess they would be covering other stories if this election were a flop, eh?

The same people who said "5000 dead if we move on Baghdad", the same people who cried about fictitious looting, the same people who said we wouldn't hand over Iraq anytime soon, the same people who said we'd need "50k body bags for our troops", the same people who said taking Baghdad could take a year, the same people who said the Arab Street would rise up...who would no doubt be trying to leverage a failed election in Iraq into impeachment hearings for George Bush...are now scrambling to change the subject.

Glad you're with us today....
It just occurred to me...Do you remember a time before FR, a time when we were the "silent majority"...A time when people were afraid to speak out because they weren't sure how their neighbors felt and didn't want to offend anyone or appear on the edge....Then we realized we weren't alone.

Today, in Iraq,we can multiply that feeling by 100s. The people now know they are not alone....The vote has united them, given them a voice and will empower them to stand tall.....

It's more than an election...It's a change of attitude....an enlightenment.

I almost walked out this morning when our minister said we must pray for the brave voters and our troops in Iraq even tho "some are questioning the legitimacy of this election". Actually I wanted to stand up and ask if he was one of the "some" because we know who they all are, including the swimmer from Massachusetts, "Mr. Hair" of Boston and the rest. But I will ask him personally.

Did these same people question the legitimacy of the hundreds of thousands tortured and killed, the cutting off of hands? I'm beginning to think these aren't really people but E.T.'s without a soul. Guess that's not P.C.--how about without a conscience?
