Iraqi Election~~~~~ Live thread.
They surrounded the ambulance, pulled the guys out and held them for the police to arrest.
I didn't read this....I'm lovin' it. ;o)

Pings. please.
By the end of the day in Baghdad, voters were running to polling stations to get there before polls closed at 5 p.m. (1400 GMT). Some old women were pulled along by young sons.
One of the biggest surprises was Mosul, a mixed Sunni Arab and Kurd city in the far north, where U.S. army officers said they were surprised to see long lines at many voting centres.
Baghdad's mayor was overcome with emotion by the turnout of voters at City Hall, where he said thousands were celebrating.
"I cannot describe what I am seeing. It is incredible. This is a vote for the future, for the children, for the rule of law, for humanity, for love," Alaa al-Tamimi told Reuters.
Imagine how happy he is for Iraq, and not just for selfish reasons. He is a Great President with a big heart!
Some fool Liberal woman( she said she was Liberal with a Capital L), called up C-Span this am and announced that nothing ethical can come from something we shouldn't have done in the first place. So, since the Iraq War was illegal and immoral, there couldn't be any positive outcome. Period. Iraq can drop dead, for all she cares. The host and guest, an Arab...former reconstruction manager in Iraq were speechless.
They can be proud of themselves during this election. This is a big event that may break the back of fear. The Iraqis have existed under terror for decades and maybe this election will represent a psychological sea change.
A bomb went off in a Spanish seaside resort, too.
Great pics, thanks for posting them.
Hmm, you heard about this first!
On a different trip, I took my 10 and 12-year old daughters to Normandy in France - they noticed the signs in some places reading, in several langauges, "we welcome our liberators."
Ah, a taped interview. I didn't see that.
I didn't really analyze the Spanish bombing, but the penny finally dropped. Clearly, this is more of the same terror tantrum. Do what we want worldwide, in Iraq, everywhere, or else you'll all pay.
God bless all Iraqis who have shown the world that there is no underestimating the human spirit and its call to freedom.
Really delighted to see those notes. Iraqis know who's on their side.
Congratulations to the free people of Iraq! Does anyone think that little Theodore Kennedy looks like a fool today?
Kerry on FNC: "The real test isn't the election"
Yeah right Mr. Sour Grapes, does that apply to our recent election as well? Go away Traitor, no one wants to hear your pathetic sore loser remarks.

6. Until Iraqi insurgents deliver a pillow case full of...
fingers dipped in ink to the nearest American commander
because that's what I would do if I were an insurgent leader
GW is going to speak at one pm. Dems must be tearing their hair out.
It's a Happy Day!
Oh happy day
Oh happy day
Oh happy happy day;
Oh happy day When Jesus washed
Oh when he washed
When Jesus washed
He washed my sins away!
Oh happy day
Oh happy day
Oh happy day
Oh happy day
When Jesus washed
Oh when he washed
When Jesus washed
He washed my sins away!
Oh happy day
Oh happy day
He taught me how
He taught me
Taught me how to watch
He taught me how to watch
and fight and pray
fight and pray
yes, fight and pray
And he'll rejoice
and He'll, and He'll
rejoice in things we say
and He'll rejoice in things we say
things we say
yes, things we say...
