Those of us on FR who are celebrating the Iraqis voting are proof that you don't need to have selfish reasons for feeling joy. And I'm sure that the President feels the exact same way! Looking at these photos, and seeing the turnout numbers only supports the vision for democracy in the Mideast. While we share the joy and happiness with Iraqis, you can bet that Iran, Syria, and Saudi Arabia are shaking in their shoes at the success of their neighbor.

God bless all Iraqis who have shown the world that there is no underestimating the human spirit and its call to freedom.

No doubt, they must be wailing and tossing dust into the air while lamenting their future.

Will Iraq become the economic and democratic superpower of the middle east? I am glad Israel holds that title, but Iraq might be 2nd in time.

Men have not been to the moon. It was a hollywood type production in the Arizona desert directed by NASA.

This Iraqi election was clearly also conducted in the Iraqi desert using hollywood extras.

Do I really need a sarcasm tag?
