Brit Hume is the man in the media I most admire. He is incredible, smart, unafraid and our best friend.

shepard smith just said that some people walked 13 miles in order to vote.
I can't see a ted kennedy walking 13 miles to vote for himself.
MSNBC is saying basically it was not the USA but iraqi preparation..
Victory is definitly not an orphan.

If I was an Iraqi I would move to the United States just to vote against the *sses who didn't want me to be FREE. But, we DO have them all on record not supporting the Iraqi people but instead wanting to cut and run, like the cowards they are.

I don't know when the KR came along but I thought it was after we left VN. Maybe my memory is fuzzy. But I don't think we were ever allies.

Not a laughing matter, but this just came to mind:

Fave Kerry quote this morning on MTP: "Let's not overhype these elections..." LOL. Not unexpected. And no, I can't imagine him as president. What an awful thought.

I pledge to myself to keep from listening to sore losers, nay sayers, dem what ifs while I enjoy this day of courage for the Iraqis who voted and for those who stood guard.
It is a brave first step..as one man said he braved the threats because he believes it is a new day for Iraq..He has hope!

Has Chris Matthews turned into the entertainment "reporter" these days? He was in Cannes a few days ago interviewing "stars" and he also went to "the Donald's" wedding.
