It is now 3 am in Iraq the polls will be opening in the next few hours as the world watches and hold's it breath. Iraq is about to undertake a historic vote.
Lets wish them well....... please post all comments and election photos to this thread.

Haven't cared much for Rivera since his famous "Willowbrook" piece that made him famous, but have to admit his words and enthusiasm, especially the last part got to me, ..really great stuff.

Guess I should see what they are saying.

Could possibly be someone in great fear of voting, who thinks if they totally cover themselves, the ones who threatened to kill them if they voted won't know their identity. Not saying it is...just a possibility.

Thank you... Granted our population is 10 fold or more, rendering a comparable average fairly low, additionally , we are not 'at war' in the classic sense, yet the USA has it's share of places as unhealthy to visit as Fallujah is/was...

Sure hate hearing the number is up to 27! What very brave people these Iraqis have shown themselves to be. Guess the Dems didn't realize how much many of them DO appreciate our help!
