It is now 3 am in Iraq the polls will be opening in the next few hours as the world watches and hold's it breath. Iraq is about to undertake a historic vote.
Lets wish them well....... please post all comments and election photos to this thread.
Denny Crane: "I want two things. First God and then Fox News."
Shep just was doing "updates" on various places...just said unmanned aircraft seeing people walking 13 miles from Abu Ghraib to the city where their polling place was moved to. He said now walking by the THOUSANDS 13 miles to vote and there may be pictures later on. Wow.
Also just saying some polling places asking for more ballots b/c of the numbers coming out.
Yes, some problems, but that it is going "extremely well"
Patience I say, the MSM can't ruin this glorious event. This election will reach 60% participation in my estimation.
Shep: Thousands of people walking 13 miles to vote.
And Shep also reporting that the polling station that was located at Abu Ghraib was moved 13 miles away. However thousands of voters are walking the 13 miles in order to vote.
Shep is live talking about a line of people that started out as 100 people walking 13 miles to vote at a poll that is now up to a line of 1000 people making that 13 mile walk for the poll. He said there may be pictures of it on TV soon.
I would have dipped another finger in the dye and I would have held it high to let the terrorists know they are fired!
Yeah he was! Those were great "snapshots"...and oh so different than what others are saying! LOL!
When is the last time she checked the inner cities HERE?!
Shep says they have had to ask for more ballots at some voting places, Yes!!!!!!!!!!!! Democracy at work. People will not be turned away from voting, and they turned out more than we expected. Take that you terrorists!
Exactly.
People are by nature loyal to their own country. Iraqis are grateful for what we have done. But, they want us to hit the road....:)
I have nothing against them desiring that. I would want that if a force was in my country, even if they did good.
Isn't that just incredible!
Great news, prayers to remain that way.
CNN still reporting doom and gloom. Snooty anchorette says turnout is mixed, some polling places completely empty, others overflowing with joyous citizens anxious to cast their vote.
More dancin' viters now on CNN...
I forgot about "Meet the Depressed" today. Especially, since I don't watch it. Will someone please tell me what he says? I don't think I can stand to watch him.
LOL! As Geraldo said, they can go to Hell! Give Me Liberty or Give me Death. I'm so proud of them!
Amen!, friend.
I'm so grateful for the VCR!
Ostrich should be banned on Fox. She is nuts and should be in a nut house.
