It is now 3 am in Iraq the polls will be opening in the next few hours as the world watches and hold's it breath. Iraq is about to undertake a historic vote.
Lets wish them well....... please post all comments and election photos to this thread.
Is anyone else as nervous as me? I can't sleep even though it's 1:30 am here. The polls will close at, I figure, about 10am my time. I won't really relax until then. I so want this day to go well for Iraq.
How can I sleep? (Thank God it's the weekend)

I am actually enjoying him tonight. I would be giddy if I were there knowing what we know about this election too. I have never really liked him...

CNN - right now people dancing at the polls, lots of them! In Baquba, which I think is in the Sunni Triange, but I'm not sure. Yep - the reporter said it's a majority Sunni town, in Baghdad.
