There was a beautiful picture in today's Washington Times of a group of Americans on their knees praying in front of the Iraqi embassy here in DC for a peaceful election.
I'm a posting moron and don't know if that picture was in their electronic edition - -but it's a keeper.....

Our church has an interim pastor who is also a career military chaplain. Last Sunday he told us that one of his fellow military officers emailed him from Iraq and asked that he have his congregation pray for his men because they were the group (sorry guys, I don't know the proper military terminology) who were scheduled to deliver the voting machines and were thus targets. All week I've been listening for news and so far haven't heard that the soldiers delivering the voting machines were hit. Prayer works (of course).
