I do love those VHI show, particularly the musings of Michael Ian Black and Hal Sparks.
Fave Quotes from "I Love the 70s."
1. "Neil Diamond was Sexy like your teachers having sex. Too weird."
2. "Burt Reynolds was five Village People rolled into one person."
Well the `70`s were alright, but the `80`s were the begining of the MTV music holocaust that destroyed all music as humans use to know it, and it`s true, I love it when they bash it. What gets me though is when they bash the `80`s and 90`s as if todays music is any better. The music holocaust still persists to this day, and in fact, it`s even worse. If you get MTV, have you seen their latest? They have a show that details the life of Ashlee Simpson, and they usually play this show all day long. This is the girl who sings worse than someone with throat cancer, but that`s a compliment because people with throat cancer at least can make some sort of a sound. Ashlee doesn`t. Yes ladies and gentleman, this is how low music has gone now. The 21st century has started off, if you can believe it, even worse than the `80`s and the 90`s. They make fun of Milli Vanilli? Milli Vanilli were Mozarts compared to this woman. And then we must all ask ourselves once again as we did when Madonna first came on the scene at the beginning of the holocaust; "Who in the hell is buying this sh*t? Since when do the deaf have the market cornered in music?"
80's...good!
90's...bad!
