Unless I'm confusing you with someone else, I'm pretty sure that you only support my desire to smoke because you think it'll kill me faster.

If I am confusing you with another poster, I apologize.

I know, and they're getting away with it because people have bought for so long the idea that second hand smoke is dangerous, and/or they just don't like the smell, or they think smokers are unintelligent or morally deficient, or...

Shall I go on? LOL

The idiocy of it all amazes me.

i agree...i have always loved the smell of tobacco

You smell that? Do you smell that? Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that.

I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body.

The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory.

Someday this war's gonna end and I'm going to smoke a cigar. I have always loved the smell of tobacco in the morning.

I'm beginning to know which ones in here are under 30. Most have been brain washed and bought the anti's lies, lock stock and barrel.

Yep, most are either under 30 or the older ones have quit smoking and they can't stand that the rest of us do and still love it.

I'm curious to know what keeps a person smoking into their 30's, 40's, 50's and beyond.

Strong physical addiction to nicotine and insulin rush that nicotine creates. On a scondary and more lasting level, the learned behavior that the relief of the withdrawal symptoms provide which is reinforced over and over again creating an emotional addiction triggerd by associations to routine events. The addict comes to see relief of withdrawal as pleasure and in a way it becomes pleasure.

Well, I really am sorry. Your name is very close to one nasty anti that used to come in here.

Again, I am very sorry. I wouldn't hurt my friends for anything in this world!

"If you don't want to tell me, then STFU."

Why don't YOU STFU?

I'm not the one that's asking!

and those who are allergic,

Kind of late in the thread to jump in but.....anyway, a person can't be allergic to cigarette smoke. Allergies are caused by proteins and smoke has none. What it does is irritate the sinus passage and that mimics an allergy. ;-)

Read through the entire thread? LOL. I did that, and despite his claims to the contrary, he was an instigator here.

That was a pretty crappy thing for him to say.

For starters, if you are a city council member, getting a ban on all indoor or outdoor tobacco smoking is a revenue maker with the all the fines such regulations generate. This is a job generator because the extra people necessary to enforce the regulation; the extra court time, attorney fees, and the increase in union worker dues (to be used for DemonRAT Party activities) all contribute to one ultimate end: the consolidation of the socialist agenda. This tobacco puritanism is a tool for the socialist to increase their revenue base by expanding their control over the sheeple who are considered by the policy wonks little more than farm animals with a bigger brain.
