CITY OK'd 1,305 FLAWED VOTER CARDS
People were allowed to cast ballots, despite filling out same-day registrations with wrong information
By GREG J. BOROWSKI
Milwaukee officials said Thursday that 1,305 same-day voter registration cards from the Nov. 2 election could not be processed, including more than 500 cases where voters listed no address and dozens more where no name was written on the card. [Copy of sample card below]
But the revelation of the actual number of cards that couldn't be processed, far lower than previous estimates of 8,300 or more, raised new concerns, because it leaves a clear gap of more than 7,000 people who voted on Nov. 2 and cannot be accounted for in city records...

Thats interesting stuff about all these people working the registration desk.....your're right, could you or I have gone down there and helped....probably not.
I was also dissapointed to read the Journal this morning and hear the comments of the Dem legislators gearing up to block the photo ID bill.
It's really hard to understand how people can be that ridiculously partisan when you now have proof that perhaps 7,000 votes in the election were fraudulent and bogus....I mean, how do you sleep at night with that going on?
Ultimately we need to can same-day registration, get the photo ID requirement and have a federal watchdog on these polls every election.
Mayor Barrett....we are waiting for your comments on this....your silence is deafening.
