I believe one was a case of a teenage volunteer who did child care during services in some Dade County area church. He was falsely accused of child molesting, but the truth didn't come out until long after the trial. In the meantime everyone assumed he was guilty because of the leaks from Reno's office, so it made her look very good and got her great name recognition and popularity as a "no-nonsense, tough on crime" prosecutor. Her office did a lot of unscrupulous things like "leading" the tiny children in their videotaped testimony.
Also, they selectively edited the tapes so that in one segment you watched a kid solemnly say, "Yes, he did touch me there". But then they cut out the next part where the same kid says, "And then he got on a broom and flew around the room!!" - which of course would reduce the witness's credibility to zero. The poor teenager's lawyer was too incompetent to figure out what was going on. I seem to remember he was convicted with huge media accolades for Reno, and then it was later overturned with little media attention.
But I could be remembering it inaccurately. It's been over 10 years since I read an article about this, but I think it was in Reader's Digest back when they were still a conservative mag.
I think that was the one where the appeals court accused her of Gross proscutical misconduct,I think she was involved in some other simular cases that were overturned
Ironically, she lives just off Kileen Drive in Kendall, about a mile from OJ Simpson.
There was a cop who was accused of child molestation who spent years in prison (being a cop and accused child molester, probably not good years) before he was cleared.
That was the case I read. Sick.

I have not read Reader's Digest for many years, but remember it as doing an excellant job of uncovering liberal BS. When did this ideological shift take place and how?
