Mexicans who toiled on U.S. farms between 1942 and 1964 under the Bracero program are ready to "besiege" U.S. President George W. Bush's ranch in Texas to press their demands for money owed them in their retirement, an activist who fought with Nicaragua's Sandinista rebels said Tuesday.
José Puente León told EFE that the former braceros are determined to march on Bush's ranch just as they did last year on the ranch owned by President Vicente Fox in Guanajuato.

While they are waiting around for him to show, could they perhaps clear some brush?

Will they be applying for visas?
Shouldn't they be marching on LBJ's ranch or Hyde Park or Hyannisport?
Matter of fact, why don't they march on Hyannisport this week, just ahead of the next snowstorm. Could make for some great press photos. Braceros left out in the cold.

At worst they'll get a little reminder of what happened the last time Mexicans tried to invade Texas.

I agree with you. I think that we should take the rewards away and put pressure on corrupt governments on the other side of our southmost border and get them to understand that they have to shape up.

Good afternoon.
I seem to remember the Bracero program working very well until the Marxists decided it was demeaning to the workers. When Bracero went away
the constant stream of illegal immigration increased to a flood and is now a tsunami.
There were no monies owed to these people for retirement any more than the Okies who worked the same fields as the Mexicans were owed money other than Social Security. The Mexicans were not citizens and Social Security was not taken from their wages.
Of course I stopped working in the fields when I graduated from high school and that is a long time ago so my memory may be faulty.

Isn't it amazing how brave these foreigners are when they know they won't get their butts shot full of holes like they would at Putin's house.
I would like to see the rabble desenters given a uniform and a musket and fly over China, kick their bodies out and yell take no prisoners and give no quarter like their "brave" ancestors did at the Alamo.
How strange, no volunteers!
