I am grateful that AARP has been caught in their deliberate lies to scare seniors. AARP has and always will be a liberal, Hollywood elite group that cares for nothing more than their wallets. It is obvious with this skewed survey that gave them the results they wanted to see. Social Security needs to be reformed and President Bush has the right idea when he wants to give ownership back to the people. I've said it once and I'll say it again, there is an alternative to AARP and that is USA Next/United Seniors Association. www.usanext.org Check them out, this group see's the big picture.

AARP execs get rich exploiting the fears of the elderly all while pushing their liberal agenda. Nothing new.

Although AARP repeatedly tried to get me to join, I kept sending their stuff back with stuff like, "You are too leftist for me" or "Go away commie scumbag". I don't get anything anymore.
They should be disbanded.

What the AARP IS is a slick marketing funnel for a host of products that might appeal to their membership base such as auto insurance, so-called health insurance, collectibles, and on and on, each offered with a 'Discount' tied to AARP Membership. Simply put, it is a marketing machine that has convinced a large group of people that they should pay for the privilege of mailboxes full of AARP approved offers - nothing more.
