He wanted a press conference and this crash makes it a better idea to have it today. With Babs Boxer and Ted "the swimmer" Kennedy's foul remarks about Condi Rice, today is the day to be assertive on Iraq.

FoxNews reporting 31 marines killed in that chopper crash. The chopper type could hold up to 55.
2 commuter trains collide in California, leaving Union Station, north of LA/Glendale area. Not much further details.

Sad news about our military guys.....prayers for their families.

I still think Zarquawi could be in custody....we didn't hear about his "senior" buddy being caught until almost two weeks after the fact. I doubt it's that given the bad news we are getting out of Iraq....31 Marines died today. The Condi Rice situation......
