Muslims upset about Fox's 24

It's no secret where I'm going to be every Monday night for the next six months - in front of the TV watching 24, Fox's gripping, edge-of-your seat, real-time series.

For three seasons, I've been an avid viewer and I'm hooked once again after watching 24's exciting fourth-season opener last weekend.

As usual, rogue protagonist Jack Bauer, played by Kiefer Sutherland, is breaking the rules to track down terrorists.

But the terrorists aren't eastern Europeans or traitorous government officials this time. The evil-doers are a Muslim couple apparently involved in a mysterious train derailment and the kidnapping of the U.S. Defence secretary...

Even though it was fiction, it was nice to see all those Mooselips dying!! Very nice tribute to the Helicopter pilot at the end.

You might be able to rent the first three episodes of season two on DVD.

After season one was over on FOX, FX (their cable channel) had a 12-13 hour "24" fest from noon to midnight on a sunday. That is all my husband and I did all day: watch 24. Nothing else got accomplished that Sunday at all and we got hooked.

I thought she had a phone conversation with him in the first hour where she told him it was off and that they'd talk more when she got back to NY...

Too damn bad. All Muslims may not be terrorists, but all the terrorists that have operated in the US in the last 10 years or so (with one exception) have been Muslim.

This is the first season we've watched "24", and we're enjoying it immensely. We ordered up the earlier seasons on Disc from Netflix. Season 1 has a long wait, so we're gonna jump right in to Season 2. The Disc is on the way today!

I could never trust her. She's deceived both her husband and her son already, poor Debbie's mother, poor Debbie, the rest of the people, etc. Plus anyone who remembers to shoot a hole in Debbie through a pillow before your father gets home is one mean momma.

I caught that, too. And I feared they were going to ruin this show by making the culprits the PC target group: white male conservatives.

It's about the only show on television that watch (besides Antiques Roadshow and Seinfeld re-runs). If 24 heads in that direction, I'll be down to two.

Just something to remind everybody who started this...Liberals will tell you the USA started the fight against Muslim extremism, when the fact of the matter is THEY started it by first murdering a Presidential candidate of ours, Robert Kennedy. That`s why I don`t at all understand Ted Kennedys support of them, but I guess that`s just the effect or extreme alcoholism. They use the excuse that "The USA and Israel oppress Islam" but who are they kidding? There are mosques all over the USA, there are mosques all over Israel, there are mosques all over Europe. The fact is, they are out to kill anyone who isn`t muslim and anyone who says otherwise doesn`t know the facts. The only place Islam is truly oppressed is in the communist countries, but you don`t see them declaring "Jihad" against those countries do you? Know why? Because those countries speak the one language these mutts understand the most; Death. And just because we are now speaking that language, liberals don`t like it? Hey, we didn`t choose it, THEY did. We had NO choice but to go this route. They never stop attacking us. It`s just too bad the rest of the world can understand that this sick cult needs to be taken care of once and for all.

EXACTLY! I've been watching 24 now since season one. There have been bad Germans, Bosnians, ex-MI5 spies, Black First Ladies, White Presidental Aides, Mexican Drug Lords, a killer Lesbian, and a turncoat ex lover of Jacks. This year we have some Arabs and a "mystery person". Next year it will probably be the North Koreans....

The show, for the most part, is the most suspenseful show on TV. The Jack Bauer Power Hour Rocks.
