Yes folks, I know it's a couple of hours away, but for you loyal C-Span listeners, the debate will be carried live on C-Span 2 today. Live streaming on C-Span 2's server for those of you with high bandwidth carriers.
Box-o-Rox has asked for a full hour in which to call Dr. Rice a lying slut. Meantime, the senior Senator from the state of West Virginia has brought some friends of his down to testify to Rice's unfitness for her office:
Other Dhimmis have asked for time to object to Dr. Rice as well. Meantime, I wonder if McCain or Hagel will actually rise to her defense?
(...sound of crickets...)
Arlen Specter? Anybody?
Be Seeing You,
Chris

Because the majority of the black population doesn't hold them accountable for their racism. As in kicking their sorry butts out of office.

Does anybody know what part of the Constitution Byrd is citing...The Scottish constitution. He had a conference call with Arlen Spector before going out to the senate floor to launch his diatribe this morning.

Or they could leave it in the middle of the Senate floor with a sign "Don't let this happen to you!"

...FINALLY...a Republican to the rescue!!...oh, wait, it's hagel...
To: Txsleuth
Now Byrd is practically accusing Condi of being the ONE person that kept us from counteracting 9/11---like her lack of whatever let it happen!!!Well, while we're on the subject, Sheets, whatever happened to Congressional oversight? Aren't the people who sit on all those committees actually supposed to do some bloody overseeing?

Is there a vote scheduled for today?Nah...this nonsense goes on for nine straight hours -- maybe less if the Republicans decided not to speak much. (Each side gets 4 1/2 hours each.) The vote is scheduled for tomorrow.

Turner comes out blasting Nazism at FOX and its viwers. Dems are running around screaming "architect" as in Germany. Oh yeah, they strategized this.
If we're nazi's maybe we should start rounding up these Libs and putting them on concentration camps? Oh wait, we're not doing that are we? No, It's the Libs trying to pin us into little boxes so we dare not speak out against them.
To: Soul Seeker
You may well be right. There are certainly several alternative explanations for his much greater visibility and more obvious wielding of power. Augmenting Cheney's power in the Senate to carry out the Bush agenda is certainly one such reason. Another motive could be building both W's and Cheney's power to sway the next elections, 2006 and 2008.
