Yes folks, I know it's a couple of hours away, but for you loyal C-Span listeners, the debate will be carried live on C-Span 2 today. Live streaming on C-Span 2's server for those of you with high bandwidth carriers.
Box-o-Rox has asked for a full hour in which to call Dr. Rice a lying slut. Meantime, the senior Senator from the state of West Virginia has brought some friends of his down to testify to Rice's unfitness for her office:
Other Dhimmis have asked for time to object to Dr. Rice as well. Meantime, I wonder if McCain or Hagel will actually rise to her defense?
(...sound of crickets...)
Arlen Specter? Anybody?
Be Seeing You,
Chris
It will be on again on HBO 2 at 7PM Eastern. The bomb is detonated and that's all I am saying.
Ok...maybe I'd like to hear from a Republican now.
Levin up...her personal story is inspiring BUT, he is concerned about her representations and her attempts to revise history.
Carl Levin and his combover up next..
"In September, Mark won the DFL primary and eight weeks later was elected to the United States Senate. On January 3, 2001, he was sworn in as the 33rd Senator from Minnesota and as the 1,846th Senator in the nation's history."
He's up in 06.
LOL
Yeah, well she's an uppity ******. Senator Kleagle will expand on this theme.
I can feel my blood pressure rising. Sheesh!
DAYTON:Some might prefer to avoid the momentous decision the Constitution assigns us whether or not to declare war. Whether or not to send Americans into battle halfway around the world, where they would likely encounter the chemical or biological weapons we rightfully seek to spare this country. Some of those Americans will die too young, and others will suffer horrible wounds lasting for lifetimes.
Watch who is standing up and speaking on the DEM side...its the loon fringe.
"I'm not saying Biden isn't racist; he may be. I'm saying this is not clear cut evidence in and of itself. Arrogant and condescending and just plain silly, yes."
Perhaps my remarks are not clear. I did not say that Senator Biden is a racist. My post did not, nor was it intended to, present evidence that Senator Biden is a racist. I do not care what his feelings for non-white, below-pay-grade people are.
My point is that a highly qualified, intelligent, gifted person is being traduced by breathtakingly stupid (Boxer, Biden) mediocrities, an unhooded white supremacist (Byrd) and a proven liar whose discomfort with all things American is evident in his every action (Kerry,) with the blessing of the minority party in the Senate of the United States.
Defending Senator Biden from non-existent charges of racism is a distraction, and to me at least, sounds meretricious and not as reasonable as your tone seems to imply.
b.
Whoops, Dayton said other pov were NOT presented to him.
Levin invokes *yellowcake*.
He brings up the SOTU speech, and just got through misrepresenting the timeline and what knowledge went into that speech.
Paging Karl Rove...please pick up the white courtesy phone.
Your point was and remains crystal clear. I got it and get it.
Thank you, I'll try it again tonight. Hubby wakes me (with coffee) around 3:30 every morning so I hit the hay pretty early each evening.
Levin going on and on about the SOTU speech. At least he quoted the President correctly as citing British intelligence.
He is completely misrepresenting this story.
Would that some Republican would be on the ball to stand up and recite the correct sequence of events and what was known and what was cited and what even the 9/11 Commission had to say on the subject.
Please tell me Levin's NOT going back to yellow cakes?!!
That would mean one of them would have to grow a spine.
Not only has he gone back to yellowcake, he is devoting his whole speech to it. Harking to the speech President Bush gave in Cincinnati in 2002 and the SOTU speech.
He is saying Rice has "problems" with her answers about memos and CIA requests to have referrences to yellowcake removed.
