I tried a google search on the words wolfowitz and architect and got. "Results 1 - 10 of about 49,200 for wolfowitz architect. "

What is realy sad about this spectacle is not the actions
of the Dems. Rather it's the silence of the President, Vice President

Condi will be confirmed, and I am certain that at an appropriate time he will answer her critics, as well as devising ways to make Senator Boxer's life more miserable.
According to the rules of the Senate, these yahoos are allowed to speak. The President has no control over their actions.

Voinivich stands up a praises Condi and says he will vote for her and now is proceeding to talk about how the Administration and Condi needs to have more candor and be more forthcoming with them---
In other words---she is a liar!!
Dr. Rice has to be strong, capable and unequivocal in the position for which she is nominated. Should she show the slightest weakness, (and doing as you suggest to the President) would energize those despicable dregs in Congress.
Besides, I believe Dr. Rice is more than capable to withstand the slings and arrows of self-serving Congress critters.
