Consider it done......
" "He reminds me of a used car salesman."
I used to be a used car salesman -- in Memphis, as a matter of fact -- and I take humbrage at your slam on a profession that prides itself in the relative integrity of those plying the trade and John Ford. / sarc off
Sen. John Ford is too slimy a character to get hired on a car lot.
The hierarchy of lowlifes is, in order from the bottom up, whale doo-doo, politicians, then used-car salesmen. There is a virtural tie for 4th and 5th place between bankers and lawyers.
My sincere apologies to used car salesmen everywhere! He did remind me of one in Salinas, Calfornia on one of those old huckster dealer lots on Market Street.
..that he was mentioned on LENO last might!
Have you seen the latest shameful display of Sen. Ford's character?
Check out http://www.wreg.com/ ... scroll down, look on the right, and click on "A Ford Attacks!"
And Ford is now suing that reporter and the news station.
I don't live in Memphis, but in Southaven, a Mississippi suburb of Memphis. I absolutely despise Memphis. And what another poster put on here earlier about EVERYTHING in Memphis being tied to race is true. There are some good people here of all races, but until the largely black constituency stops voting these 2 morons in (and others), Memphis will continue to go downhill as it has for a long time now.
Isn't that a conflict of interest?
Hey, I take offense at that! I don't resemble a politician.
