In Crimea components of " a dirty bomb "
In the Crimean village Ishun the warehouse of chemical substances which can be used for creation so-called " a dirty bomb " is found. The broadcasting company of NTV informs on it.
As it became known, in a court yard of one of apartment houses sat law enforcement bodies of Ukraine it was revealed six containers with a dangerous radioactive isotope caesium. All tenants of village evacuated, as the local radiating background exceeds norm in 380 times. As one of heads of local service of the Ministry of Emergency Measures has declared, there is a radiating background which represents danger to a life.
It is at present established, that containers were brought to the house by the relative of the mistress. Now for the man search.
Meanwhile caused on a place of a dangerous find experts have made the conclusion, that the found caesium - 137 it is enough for creation so-called " a dirty bomb ". At its explosion there is a radioactive infection of district. According to main state doctor SES of area Krasnoperekopskogo Jury Sirotkin, the amazing factor of such bomb - as at nuclear explosion, the mechanism of action - the same.
Containers with caesium have withdrawn, and shortly them utilize. It is necessary to note, that the price of one container of caesium in the black market reaches several tens thousand dollars.
There is no terrorist threat
I do hope the terrorist have no idea how to handle this stuff and die slow, painful deaths as a result.
