Did your hair look anything like this? I saw this on a thread earlier and nearly died laughing.

---"You couldn't dance in that dress - actually, you couldn't do anything at all," says junior Vivian Healey.---

Vivian is obviously dating Vlad, and neither one of them are really with the program . . . .

where would you put the corsage?

Girls now days have pierced nipples....

Ok, I must admit, even this rather open-minded father would not allow his two daughters to wear something like this in public.

However, it is funny to make jokes about.

Alot of dresses show cleavage...this shows almost everything else...so where does the line get drawn?

Well, when it shows what's called "undercleavage", as this dress does, I'd say the line has definitely been crossed for school-run events.

So the kids have more sense than the fashion industry that is pimping out these kind of clothes to young girls.

At least there is SOME hope.

I wore mint green, chiffon over taffeta, strapless with ruffles all over the skirt and dyed to match green shoes. My mother added straps. She made the dress as she made all the formals for me and my four sisters. This was way back in the dark ages, 1960. We danced the most wonderful dance to the Great Pretender. I cannot believe I remembeer this!!

Just the thought of that is bad enough.

I have to agee with Vlaz--these ain't the kind of girls you find in high school. But the dress on the left actually looks tasteful to me, but not suitable for a prom.

Maria Rodriguez, Mother: "If she had the body I'd let her wear it, why not? No I don't think it's too revealing. It's only for one day, it's the prom and if they want to wear something nice and sexy - like J Lo."

Serinden Nagpal, Store Owner: "The way it's been done with all the beading, I don't know how the girls are going to wear the dress. But we've been getting a lot of calls for the dress, and wanted to make sure we have the dress."

One shopper had this to say: "I don't know what is the big deal. It's a nice dress but I don't understand the big talk about it."

Bride of Frankenstein...

I agree.

Wearing something provocative is not enough to make up for the fact she's a bit on the muttly side.

Hopefully these people are in the federal witness protection program, and have started new lives.

This is what happens when your family is addicted to sticking fingers in electrical outlets.

I give thanks to the Lord that my daughter is 40 years old now. I couldn't take some of the crap that's going on these days.
