Approximately 600 Democrats gathered in a Sacramento conference hall on Saturday, January 22, to hear seven DNC chair candidates vie for the affections of a motley crowd composed of several dozen voting DNC members and a large assortment of Deaniacs. When it was the ex-Governor's turn to speak, it was Iowa all over again...
"They're gonna do those things too. The difference is we're not going to send an army of mindless zealots out into the provinces to knock on doors -- you are gonna' do it because you believe in it, and because they're you're friends and neighbors!" -- Howard Dean
I don't think Dean is getting any sex. That will do that to a man.
Howard was a regular on Canadian TV playing the role of "typical American governor". I don't think he ever got over it.
They don't seem capable of even thinking in a respectable manner. I have said elsewhere that the RATs will have to embrace Harry Truman instead of Karl Marx if they ever want to regain the ground they have lost in public opinion over the last 50 years. They have confused "libertine" with "liberty".
And more than that, they will have to really mean it instead of just trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the electorate. What's the old joke, "How do you know when a demonRAT is lying? Just see if his mouth is moving."

Um, does Dean remember Iowa, when his "volunteers" started showing up, and suddenly he started dropping in the polls like somone had tied bags of lead around his head?

I've been mourning the loss of Terry. Haven't been open to Dean as result.
I think I'm ready to welcome him now. That statement, had it been made in the heat of battle, would have just sent thousands of extra volunteers to flood the GOP offices.

Wasn't it the orange-ski-capped Deaniacs who invaded Iowa. They did really well...their appearance actually ended up turning off voters.
