Vote with Your Mouse: When Kerry Comes Calling Unsubscribe in Droves Posted on Saturday, January 08 @ 10:26:37 EST by DavidAdmin
Here's a thought. Kerry spokesman David Wade says the senator's e-mail list has 2.7M names on it. I am probably not alone in hoping he sends out a message soon to his list so that I may unsubscribe. I would not have predicted it, but Kerry showed what can only be characterized as supreme cowardice by being on the other side of the globe when the legitimacy of Bush's electoral victory was discussed in the Senate. Can there be any more effective expression of our disgust than to unsubscribe from his e-mail list? The number of former Kerry supporters I suspect is much larger than 2.7M so let's do something to help the homeless by giving them a place to go.
Here is the story about the future of Kerry's e-mail list but I'm not sure I trust the numbers it contains. The DNC doesn't actually "have" 4M e-mail addresses. What it "has" is a pointer in its database to the record in a commercial database that has an e-mail address. I may be wrong about this, but I suspect that the actual number of e-mails the DNC can distribute by hitting the send key is a fraction of 4M, and not even 1M. Trust Terry McAuliffe to come up with an impressive sounding answer that in fact has little foundation in empirical reality. He's the master at that, no question. E-mail lists have to do not just with the number of addresses but the permission to mail to them and the attention of the recipients. Howard Dean's 600K e-mail list is closer to actual reality since he actually has permission to e-mail to them and they give some attention to the e-mail they receive from him. Give us a few days to stew about the right name for a page at which we can collect the names of Kerry refugees. If it wouldn't be considered bad taste I like the idea of setting up virtual shelters for the refugees of the devastation that has struck the people of Kerry Nation, who are fleeing in droves in search of honest political leadership that doesn't flinch when the bad guys get brutal.

He came closer to winning than any Democrat in history and the Left still wants to say buh-bye. If Jean Francois thinks he'll be re-nominated in '08, he's got a rude reception awaiting him. Even hard-core Leftists can't stand him. They went along with him because they thought he stood the best chance of beating Bush. He let them down so they'll search for another candidate shortly. I love it when Democrats have a case of schadenfreude in the pits of their bellies.

They're divided. They hate Kerry now even more than Bush and most of all they hate each other. The next four years will be beautiful. You're witnessing the implosion of the Left in the making.

Only about half of the people on the list were genuine supporters. The rest were simply anti-Bush. They're the ones leaving. It shows how weak your support really is when you can't count on the base to stand behind you. Especially when you ARE a loser.

Uh huh - what they did they think Kerry's stabbing the knife in the back of the nation's Vietnam Vets was? I get a chuckle out of seeing history finally come full circle: Kerry being betrayed by people who hate America as much he did. I shall enjoy the irony of the moment for the rest of my life.

What do you mean "closer to winning than any Democrat in history"? Has a Democrat never won?

If 60,000 Ohioans had voted the other way.... none of this would be funny. I'm glad I don't even have to think about the fact he isn't President today. It would have been an unmitigated disaster for our country.
