Best used car deal?
A late model Lincoln.
They are very expensive brand-new, but their resale value plummets right off the lot.
here's no market for them outside of the Florida retirement community.
So, you can pick up a used one, with hardly any miles on it, for a song.

I'm not entirely sure I believe these ratings. Consumer Reports sometimes comes up with some pretty odd results.

I always liked the 1961 Plymouth Valiant. Truly beautiful lines. With its 225 slant-6, it could run with the best of Goats and 442s!

As far as looks, I never would have thought someone wanted to surpass the ugly Aztek, but Honda has, with the Element.
In both cases, whoever approved them at the sketch stage should have been beaten to within an inch of their miserable lives.

I had a Jeep CJ-7. That *&%*%& thing drove me insane. Soon after I got it the rear axles stripped out. I had the dealership fix it. A few months later they stripped out again. I made the dealership fix it. The next time it happened I decided to do it myself due to the horrendous cost. So I did. Then they stripped out again. I just locked in the front hubs and sold it as is.

From the slide show:
With a projected reliability rating that is 181% lower than that of the average car, Ford's Lincoln Navigator sport utility vehicle is the least reliable car on the market, according to Consumer Reports.
Maybe I'm dense, but I don't understand how something could be more than 100% less reliable than something else.
