Speaking of dolts who got all a-twitter, some TV nattering nabob of negativity actually had the gall to say that, "the Secret Service is going to have to rethink" the use of all the emergency vehicles and heavy security presence when escorting the president and his party back to the White House after the inaugural. The dimwit whined that it made us look like a "banana republic." (Don't remember for, but think it was Jonathan Alter.)

As for me, I LOVE watching all the security. The Secret Service facinates me. The President's lead agent is shown to his right in this photo. I happened to catch a bit of the orders he gave other agents. At the point when the limo stopped to let the first couple out for their walk down Pennsylvania Avenue, he checked where everyone was before signaling that it was OK to open the car doors. He called over to the President's 2nd lead agent (the one the President rescued in Chile), "Stay with me! Stay with me!" The 2nd agent gave a crisp military-like response, "Yes sir!"

Three cheers for the Secret Service!

President Bush dances with Army Spc. Jazmin Azcona of Queens, N.Y., and First Lady Laura Bush dances with Marine Lance Cpl. Richard Devon Hansen of Washington, D.C., during inaugural festivities at the Commander-In-Chief Ball. Both military dancing partners are decorated veterans of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The young woman appeared shy and overwhelmed.

Did you notice when the President made it to the reviewing stand that the two SS agents sitting behind him were having a whisper session. I had a picture of it, but had to delete them all because our hosting site was full.

I wondered what they were saying.

Love your tagline, and yes, I do, everyday! :-)

As for watching the security vehicles and activities, I love it too! In one of the motorcades, I think maybe to church on Inaug. morning, I saw a shot of an SUV with the back open and big men with bug guns inside. I'm glad the pres. is protected so well. I'd like to read a book about the Secret Service, training, how they protect them Pres., etc., but I suppose it's . . . Secret!

Banana Republic??? No security?? If the leftist morons could behave in a civilize manner then maybe so much security would not be needed. They got to really out there in left field if they think the secret service is not going to do everything to protect the President.

Why do I get the distinct feeling that some of these lefty media boobs would just love for something to happen to our President! God forbid that they should ever have any say-so as to the security. The more security the better!

The dimwit whined that it made us look like a "banana republic." (Don't remember for, but think it was Jonathan Alter.)

Not Alter but I believe it was Feinman. SO many whining dimwits; so easy to get confused.

First photo in #9 shows a meeting of the mind between two men who read one another so well that little conversation is necessary.
