As for watching the security vehicles and activities, I love it too! In one of the motorcades, I think maybe to church on Inaug. morning, I saw a shot of an SUV with the back open and big men with bug guns inside. I'm glad the pres. is protected so well. I'd like to read a book about the Secret Service, training, how they protect them Pres., etc., but I suppose it's . . . Secret!
I "stole" it from another FReeper, who's making a bumper sticker out of it. It came from this thread, which I put up yesterday to lampoon the protestors. Some dimwit was standing in the crowd looking glum and holding up a sign that said, "Sad."
I'm glad there's someone else out there who is so inclined. I'm something of a "geek" when it comes to watching the Secret Service. Hollywood never, ever gets them right in the movies. Can you imagine that whiny media type (pretty sure it was Jonathan Alter) who complained that there was too much security? Sheesh!
