The Army specialist let her commander-in-chief lead.Army Spc. Jazmin Azcona, a Queens native, took to the floor with President Bush at the Commander-in-Chief Ball during last night's inaugural festivities.
"It was exciting. I was really nervous," the 23-year-old GI, whose family lives in Corona, told The Post. "It was the first time I got to meet the president."
Azcona, a clerk with the 12th Aviation Battalion out of Fort Belvoir in Virginia, said Bush was "really nice."
As the president danced with Azcona, First Lady Laura Bush was partnered with Marine Lance Cpl. Richard Hansen.

Very, very good. It is wonderful to read the wit and humor on FR. What? You were series? 8-)
LOL - that is funny.
If this had been slick willie, he would have been trying to .........
I know, I'm still gloating.....
Beautiful pictires of the CIC and First Lady dancing with members of the military ping......
I agree with you about the First Lady. I haven't seen that grace and elegance since Jackie Kennedy.
Lovely pictures, and Laura looks radiant.
The Bushes were so gentle with these soldiers.
One could tell the soldiers were very nervous while dancing with the Bushes.
My 15 yr old daughter just gushed over GW. She said,"I love that man."

Queens speed speech meets Texas drawl.
Does anyone think that there would have been any military, especially enlistd, at a JF'nK ball?
It would have been a lot more classy if he had actually stuck around a little longer since he was already about an hour ahead of what they had scheduled. It was bad manners, especially with a ball that hosted veterans or soon to be deployed troops to Iraq and Afghanistan. There is no excuse for the way he hurried out of that one.
Is Laura Bush hot or not?!
I thought that soldier was going to faint! Poor young guy, I think he was nervous enough about being in the spotlight. Then he wound up dancing with the First Lady. It looked like he was too terrified to move in case he stepped on her toes.
Wow, I had no idea he got that kind of support...I assumed it was large, but that's almost unbelievable!
Were I that marine, I'd still be trying to catch my breath.
The FIRST LADY, is simply the most beautiful and classy FIRST LADY of my lifetime.
Sorry about that post...meant for another :0)
Laura Bush is a beautiful woman!
Those Bush boys love those Spanish chicks...
