President Bush was inaugurated for his second term as President of the United States. Nuff said. Enjoy your special inauguration day edition of the daily dose!
FOr those who missed it, there are some great screen caps on the live thread for today.....

ROFL! Priceless.
There are a lot of personality combinations in the Bush family. Dubya has his mother's personality but his father's emotions. Barbara (the daughter, not the mother) has her father's and grandfather's emotion but her mother's personality. And Jenna has her father's and grandmother's personality. It's all very interesting to me.
Well, it was truly hard to pick one statement among so many real gems--but that one just sang to me! We have got to "look to our own understanding"--we can't be lemmings, just going along! It would just take us all over a cliff. Integrity in all things!
Hey, thanks! Even with all my TV watching, I haven't seen our VP at any of the balls.
I'm so excited to be here. Wasn't it GREAT?
Class, honesty, grace, and dignity...... no WONDER the Dem's don't like this AWESOME man!
I was once. (He died.) and it is so special, it ruins you for any other man because you KNOW what you want.
There is nothing like it in this world - to be so cherished, so loved, so affirmed. I hope for both of us that we find it in 2005!!
Happy Anniversary, to the Dose. The bestest meeting place on FR!
Truthy
That's great! She's always reminded me so much of her dad.
AMEN to the entire post.
Laura's dress is lovely, but OH, those jewels!
That was so cool when the Pres and the 1st Lady danced with members of the military. I kept waiting for W to tap the guy on the shoulder so they could switch partners and keep dancing!
"This looks almost cross-like to me."
I was reading from the bottom posts up for a few minutes, and when I saw this pic I had the exact same thoughts about the cross ---then I noticed your comment.
Very telling. The Lord's presence is acknowledged in so many ways with GWB events.
At least you have a car. I can't afford one yet
Hi ilovew
Some things come in time
I am 57. Have worked over 35 years. I am my sole support
and have never been able to afford a car. My only transportation
are my forearm crutches and busses. That is how I have gone to work each day. To the hospital for my many surgeries. my shopping, etc.
I live in the second largest city in California..San Diego
which is crowded, busy, etc. I retired early a yr ago due
to my health. Last 14 yrs a legal support assistant with
the county attys. When you have to pay rent, that comes
first. I say this as a friend.
Look at that picture in #9. Sweet.
