Very strange reaction by the campus police. Most of the time I recall that police calling for backup to ensure that a citizen was not hassled at a publicly funded event.

Remember the civil rights marches, school desegregation battles or any of the homo marches that have occurred? 100 cops for every protester.

If the campus police felt that they could not guarantee his safety, then 10 minutes is long enough to formulate a plan beyond running away.

Any pictures of the destruction of government property, that we all paid for? Bet that no one gets charged unless we raise a big stink over this.

The strange behavior is by people protesting violently the peaceful transition of government. They take great offense at being called unpatriotic. The actions of these students and the protests on this day show they are very much unpatriotic.

They pulled this all through the late 60's at the University of Texas. Several of us always found the need to get literature, many times, from the recruiters. I'm sure a few of the protesters still have my shoe prints all over them.

Are there no conservative students in that state?
