They showed a side by side of the red gown four years ago and this year's gown.

She's lost weight since then so her figure looks better now, I think. I really like color in a gown typically but she looks elegant and not at all washed out which can be a problem for other women her age.

I'm partial to color myself; can't stand black dressy dresses. But Laura's dress has just enough color to set off her eyes and her hair, so she just seems to GLOW! The sparkles in the gown assist, as well. ;o)
