I would be satisfied with people who liked America, regardless of political affiliation,...

Oh, I definately agree. I was just trying to be a bit humored. Besides, scanning the dial all day today, FNC isn't the only one guilty of forgetting just what today is all about.

This seal...makes me curious. I'm trying to calculate exactly where Bubba and Monica...played tiddly-winks.

The balls probably won't be over until morning. Bush went home to go to bed.

Stephen Baldwin just said of Iraqa:
"I think it could've been BETTERLY planned".
LOL!

I have a few pictures of the President and our First Lady courtesy of RNC. My honey took my favorite picture of them and had a frame made for it. It was my Christmas gift. Best gift I have ever gotten.

Sorry, but it appeared to me that Peggy went out of her way tonight to diss the president's speech. It was like she couldn't help blurting out her true feelings despite the fact she suspected it would land her in some controversy.

Methinks she's a little bitter that she's on the outside looking in now. Some people can handle this, others can't. But that's the nature of hardball politics. Four years ago.....a ball gown at the Inaugural Ball.

Tonight......civvie clothes on a loser's show.

Good for him.

The whole family truly has been vindicated after their dismissal a little over 10 years ago. While I didn't view a vote for G.W. as necessary to redeem 41, after G.W.'s re-election I've come to understand in small part how it must have weighed upon them these past years. I understood how it affected G.W., but only now understanding how deeply it hit the entire family.

41 looks so light and happy, a weight has been lifted.

Just showed Reagan's Oath.

Stephen Baldwin on! Urging us to help nominate TPOTC. Supported the Prez when he came to faith. Saw hollywood celebrities coming out agianst Bush, someone had to come out for him. People don't fully understand the weight of being a President setting policy in a post-9/11 climate.

I second your wish. And the following is probably the smartest thing I've seem posted in a long, long time... I think if we ignored them they would fade into the woodwork. I believe it's FR that's keeping them advertised.

P.S. - Happy Inauguration Day!

I just realized - I haven't seen him dancing with his lovely girls like he did 4 years ago. Guess they had a different itinerary this time around.
The pictures on this thread have been nothing short of fantastic. Thanks.

Cheney said earlier that he and W had a bet as to who would get home first tonight...he also said he had not danced with Lynn in four years, lol.

The twins are hosting their own ball tonight, the Youth Ball. Shep Smith was lamenting earlier that it was the place to be tonight but that he did not get invited.

Thanks for this thread.

Billie Baldwin says to Greta that God has certainly intervened in the election. He simply cannot praise our President enough.

What a fantastic evening, especially hearing a pundit say we haven't had as popular a First Lady since Jackie Kennedy, and regardless of your party affiliation, the country loves Laura. The climax of the evening was when we all expected the President to dance with Laura but instead each chose to dance with a member of the armed services. So moving, to say the least.

Sad to admit Box-er-ears...is Senator for CA. We get the double wammy..Boxer and Feinstein. Yikes. I'm with you on the sorry display Boxer made earlier this week. She isn't fit to serve, IMHO. Just a note...they would love the mirrors...big egos ya know. I would suggest a hell without mirrors, blow dryers or makeup. Then they have to look at each other. :)

Listening to MSNBC, Andrew Sullivan says Bush's strategy is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. (And he's saying that to Pat Buchanan........LOL)

No kidding! Fox really blew it. I couldn't care less what Alan Colmes has to say on a night like tonight. Just shut up and show me the President smiling!
