Couldn't resist posting this. Dick Morris just called George Bush's inaugeration speech one of the 5 greatest ever given. O'Reilly and Morris now agreeing that it was magnificent, but that Bush won't be given a fair shake in the liberal elite media tomorrow.
Morris now talking about how it was so inspiring.

I can't watch O'Reilly anymore, but I am sure that he didn't like hearing that remark from Dick.

It was a very pretty speech indeed, but to say it's one of the best EVER?? Hardly
To: Ignatius J Reilly
Anyone know where I can hear the speech?
Is there an online video link?
To: ladyinred
Too bad you don't watch him anymore...I watch him religiously and will continue to do so because he is actually "fair & balanced" more so than any I've ever heard before, most people can't get over his ego but, that's life.
As for Mr. Morris, he's right and personally I think history will prove it true. President Bush has character, an ambitious plan and will definately reshape our policy abroad and most importantly here in the U.S.A.

If you analyze the speech in substance, Dickie is right.

ahh...the same toe suckin' Morris that predicted a win for sKerry.I think over the course of the election he predicted both Bush and Kerry several times. For what it matters, his last pick (that I heard) was for Bush.

"The best speech ever" if definitely not what they heard on Hardball. What a group -Chris, Andrea Mitchell, Fineman, Gregory and the always Bush hating Campbell Brown. How is Campbell Brown considered an expert on anything? Fineman thinks he is much smarter than Bush. In fact, he's smarter than anyone. Chris started in on the relationship between Bush and "Poppy" (his father). They can not have on ONE positive person ever--always unbalanced and unfair.

Good for this day and age, but hardly a Lincoln's Second Inaugural. Then again, I doubt that any President will ever again be able to get away with anything less than 20 minutes.
Speaking of Lincoln's Second Inaugural, I wonder how many atheists fainted dead away at his repeated references to the Almighty?

I haven't read every speech ever given. With that admittance given, this speech will prove to be historic.
It was a beautiful piece of poetry that managed to not only be substantive but define and set new and old policy. Difficult to do. Pulled it off. The speech writers deserve praise. As does G.W. for his direction and the construction of this policy. I would say it easily, in time, will be noted among the best. Once the events unfold and the critics fade away, it will achieve it's rightful place.
The best? That I cannot say without reading through all Inaugural speeches.

I'd say his post 911 speech was his best.... guess he just keeps topping himself.

"The speech was a bore."
You did not hear the speech then!
