> Name one thing the Koran or any muslim has contributed to this country.
This is a troll... right? OK, I'll bite:
Salman Rushdie has taken a much more useful and courageous stance against radical Muslims than you will ever do: he faces a personal fatwah from the Ayatolla Khomeni for writing _The Satanic Verses_ and could get bumped off any day. How's that for a contribution??
Whereas I doubt that you will ever face personal risk from Muslim Extremists for holding your beliefs: far less publishing them.
Your arguments are pathetic and bigoted and betray a rather small mind hard at work: I think I can smell smoke from your gears twirling too hard without lubrication.
I'd like to think you could do better than that. Try!

Are you trying to make yourself obvious, or are you just stupid?
Indeed: "Hey, I am offended, the Baghavad Gita was not included. Why was MY BOOK left out."
It is a slippery slope to go beyond our overtly Judeo-Christian founding basis.
Really? I have, in the years since 2001, failed to see a single such post, except perhaps as humor or sarcasm. Except for the straw-man juveniles who put words in others' mouths.
Yes, it does, when you misidentify the "evil" you wish to contain.
Go back to DU troll.
Or you could just be making up things out of whole cloth...
Bwahahahaha. You don't see the bigoted hyprocrisy, because you're looking at it from the inside.

You insult another poster by making baseless claims of your own.
Salman Rushdie was born in India and spent his formative years there and in England.
He does NOT believe in Islam and is NOT a Muslim.
He's a secular humanist.
So he's an atheist foreigner who has made a great contribution by serving deft blows at the pillars of Islam.
How does this make him a muslim making contribution in the US ?
Now please do answer the original poster's question with some semblance of suitable reply.
The only people more irritating than Michael Savage are the fools who think he's some sort of genius. The man is either a broken record with his "borders, language, culture" schtick or rambles on with non-sequiters.
Bush merely threw Islam a bone, just so they couldn't accuse him of launching a Christian Crusade.
It was really no big deal.
What exactly is being misconstrued as evil ?
The Koran, Islam ?
This is the kind of thing that I don't like about Savage. He's a shock jock that thinks he's so much more than what he is.
The koran also places prohibitions upon slaying women and children or even the enemy who has lain down his sword, forbids destruction of property, or even of any tree with a green leaf. The Bible justified, and even supposedly at Gods command, the first RECORDED instance of genocide, recorded in fact by the ones who commited the genocide... Davids slaughter of the Philistines. So does that mean all who follow the Bible are to act in that manner? There are those whose interpretation of the Bible is very violent and they act on those interpretatons... but that is not the failure of the Bible, it is the failure of men.
Yet he did not mention Buddhism or Hinduism which have considerable constituencies. Why not ? Because they are relatively peaceful
My guess, or simple logic would suggest that he will keep saying it until these obviously insane policies get corrected, he gives up or he goes off the air.
He can be a broken record, (who isn't) but it doesn't bother a lot of listeners (they feel that strongly about it) and you must have considered that many are first time listeners or tune in sporadically. Others were too stupid to have already realized the need for correcting the attack on our borders, language and culture and need to have it pounded into their head.
