For too long conservatives have kept quiet because of the leftest vile attack and we didnt want to be called names - no more - time to bring it on - Im confident in my values - I believe all are equal but not all actions are - can the left make the same claim?

Respectfully, that is just your idea of what a conservative is. Many conservatives don't share the "morality police" aspect of other conservatives.

Again I say this respectfully, but if the GOP adopts the a morality jihad agenda, then the party will get about 20% of the vote rather than hovering around 50%. Quayle tried this approach and we got eight years of Clinton as a result.

Cartoons are entertainment shouldn't be considered a teaching vehicle. If parents don't think that certain entertainment shows are inappropriate then they shouldn't allow their children to watch them.

So you share our disapproval of public schools using a program of videos featuring these popular children's cartoons as advocacy propaganda for the homosexual lifestyle?

Well, not quite. Quayle was quite right, and even the liberals are seeing the light - reluctantly, perhaps, but the argument is moving in the right direction.

But there are effective ways to put the message across and ineffective ones. Sounding like loonies isn't too effective.

Its the difference between Wildmon and Cosby.

Well said.

I think we don't do enough policing of what OUR OWN children watch. And I won't let my kid watch SpongeBob. And I will continue to decide what she watches on a program-by-program basis, and I will feel free to voice those opinions at will. Thank you very much. / rant

You got to be kidding right? Clinton won because Christian conservatives stayed home. Wake up its been reported everywhere that this was the case. Bush won this time because Christian God Fearing Conservatives went out and voted for him. The left had the media, hollywood and almost all of the 527c money pushing their agenda. They came out big too. If it wasnt for us "moral" conservatives you would be watching Kerry as pres. This is not made up just the facts - I believed in fairy tales when I was a child too, but its now time for you to grow up and accept the fact that Values are the issue electing Republicans today. If they go the other way you WILL definitely see conservatives looking for other parties/candidates that hold their beliefs.
