Here's an idea: Why not support the Pres by buying an American pickup insead?

My "american" Dodge Ram 1500 pick up was made in Mexico. And is now owned by Daimler. (Mercedes)

Its more American than most of the US labels out there. Most Japanese brands are sourced to the US now. Most US brands source outward (Brazil & Mexico are big for the auto industry.)

Here's an idea: Why not support the Pres by buying an American pickup insead? That Toyota is probably closer to being an "American" truck than a Ford or Chevy is, with all of the latter two's parts and assembly operartations in Canada and Mexico.

Tundras are soon to be made by non union (which means they don't get raped by the union with their dues going to the Rats) workers in San Antonio. When my F-150 is ready to go, I'll be buying one of those Texas made Tundras!!!

Here's an idea: Why not support the Pres by buying an American pickup insead? Tundras ARE Made in America.
Your sissy little mini-van was made in Canada.

Uhh, are Fords made in Canada and Mexico "American?"
Are Toyotas made in Tennesee "Japanese?"

Cause they're union made and unions viciously spent against Dubya...no I won't buy American union made...ever again.
Besides Toyotas are fantastic!

The Toyota is probably more "American-made" than the equivalant GM or Ford.

Here's an idea: Catch up on the modern way vehicles are made. What do you drive?
I got a Suburban, a VW and a Toyota.
Patriotism is not measured by the vehicle you drive...at least not to me.

Read the article. This is an American made truck. Or are the thousands who build these things unworthy of being American?

Why not support the Pres by buying an American pickup insead? Like a Ford made in Canada or Mexico?

Not to start a fight but it seems many Japanese automakers are building plants in the U.S. while many U.S. automakers are closing plants in the U.S. and building new plants elsewhere.
