Ebay expects that their bottom line will go up, but I really doubt it.
Check out the high bid. and 50 people already bid on it.
KAOS was in Get Smart. Chaos is something completely different.
I am a huge eBay power seller platinum level and while I am not happy about the fee increase and I feel as though I have been held up at gun point I ask you this question:
Where you gonna go?
eBay is great because the have over 140 Million active users. There is no other auction site to go to.

This listing (6505708303) has been removed by eBay. Make sure that you've entered the item number correctly.
Please consider this listing and transaction as cancelled. If anybody contacts you to complete the sale, please ignore the request. Completing the sale outside of eBay may be unsafe and will not be covered by eBay purchase protection programs.
They just pulled your auction.....
The description did say that Ebay had removed the lot several times already.
I am a huge eBay power buyer, empty wallet level, and as such I don't see what the sellers see. But correct me if I'm wrong, won't the sellers have to increase their prices on most listings to cover the eBay increase, and won't that increase be ultimately paid by me, the buyer?
You scared the investors!
Look at the stock price today and after hours:

I joined 3 different auction sites. One of them has no listing fees, free store, 3 million members, and 10 cent gallery. I'd give the name, but it is probably inappropiate.
Been there a week and had great hits (although the sales have been slow, both on ebay and there).
You power sellers are going to be ok, just pass the fees on to the buyers, but the rest of us who struggle every day to get a % or 2 out of each sale are SOL.
can you post the pre-pulled contents of the auction here in this thread?
It's their site and it has the best name recognition, plus the ease of PayPal.
Where's everybody going?
ok, since they pulled it, it was a letter of resignation for the ebay management team. LOL
But you get 1/2 price rates. Don't you?
Only if you choose to buy. Elasticity of demand.
Some are trying to pass it along through outrageous shipping fees, so you have to be careful and see what they are charging up front. Otherwise though, there's no way to pass fee increases along at an auction. An item has a basic value and and people will only pay what it's actually worth.
ROTFL! It's hard to raise prices at an auction. If it doesn't sell then you're out the listing fees.
I have moved to bidville.com
Admin mod, if this is inappropiate, pull this remark, please.
Down 12% in after hours trading in addition to the 3% drop today!!
